Before starting college, Dr. Galatro served as an enlisted sailor in the United States Navy. In completion of his service in the United States Navy, he attended Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach where he received an Associate's Degree in Science. He then attended Old Dominion University where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. Dr. Galatro when on to attended VCU/MCV School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia and graduated in 1997. During dental school, he participated in a surgical summer externship at the St. Petersburg campus. After completing dental school, Dr. Galatro soon moved to the Fredericksburg area where he started to practice Dentistry.

 Dr. Galatro is proficient in all aspects of Dentistry with a concentration in Extraction of wisdom teeth, implant placement, Endodontics (Root Canals), and restorations. 

In his spare time, Dr. Galatro enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys, running, golfing, and sailing.

Dr. Lauren Snyder joined our practice in 2019 and has had a passion for dentistry since childhood when she would make 'retainers' from Bazooka bubble gum. Her determined, energetic, and outgoing personality naturally draws people to her. More familiar to her patients as 'Dr. Lauren', she enjoys the challenge of providing quality family dentistry in a comfortable and friendly environment.

Originally from Rochester, NY, her education journey has moved her all over the East Coast. She lived in Pittsburgh, PA where she earned a Master's Degree in Health Management Systems. She earned her Degree of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU)  and then went on to complete a one-year general practice residency at WellSpan York Hospital in York, PA. This residency provided her with advanced training in all the specialties of dentistry including oral surgery, endodontics, and implant dentistry. She also has a wealth of experience in treating medically compromised patients, and in working with special needs children and adults. After completing her residency, she settled in Fredericksburg, VA, and is fortunate she lives in the community where she works so she can form lifelong relationships with her patients. 

In her free time, Dr. Lauren enjoys spending time with her friends, family and spoiled Havanese poodle, Gracie. She loves to practice hot yoga and is an HGTV junky who has more recently become a DIY expert completing many home renovations in her spare time. 

She is always excited to learn what's new in dentistry with continuing education courses and lectures, as well as being a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Rappahannock Virginia Dental Society, and local chapter of the Seattle Study Club.

'My mission is to help every patient succeed in managing his or her own oral health care with guidance from the dental team. It is important to realize every patient is different and requires a unique treatment plan to match the goals of each patient. I enjoy getting to know my patients on a personal level, while building trust. I hope all of my patients leave the office having had a positive experience with a smile they are excited to show the world.'

Dr. Emeigh graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg, Virginia. GO HOKIES! Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Emeigh attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, for his graduate studies prior to obtaining his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Emeigh is Invisalign and Soft Tissue/Diode Laser Certified.

In his spare time, Dr. Emeigh enjoys spending quality time with his wife and 2 spoiled dogs. He also loves physical fitness, golfing, traveling, and being lazy while watching movies.

Dr. Elizabeth Standerwick was raised in Central Illinois. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She then moved out to the suburbs of Chicago to complete her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine, Downers Grove. Immediately after graduation from dental school, Dr. Standerwick and her husband got married and moved to Austin, Texas where she worked as an associate dentist for a few years. In 2020, they relocated to the Fredericksburg area to be closer to family.

Dr. Standerwick is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and Commonwealth Study Club. Continuing education and staying up to date with the most modern techniques in dentistry keep her confident and excited about her profession. She prides herself in creating a less stressful and more comfortable experience for her patients while alleviating all the anxieties she can. 

In her free time, Dr. Standerwick enjoys adventuring with her two fur babies and movie marathon-ing with her husband on a lazy weekend.
